Lufkin Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: LUFK) today announced that it expects to report earnings per diluted share for its first quarter ended March 31, 2005, in the range of $0.95 to $1.05, compared with earlier guidance for earnings per diluted share in a range of $0.65 to $0.85. As announced yesterday, Lufkin expects to report its results for the first quarter before the market opens on Wednesday, April 20, 2005. Full-year guidance will also be provided at that time.
