In today's environment, technical knowledge and know-how is not only required to address Customer requirements, but can also be a determining factor in the success of a sound marketing plan. Technical specifications, drawings, prints and equipment are kept in specific locations with controlled access. Information regarding these assets are not shared with independent parties or with other LUFKIN Divisions.
We also recognize that competitive advantages are not only gained with technical information, but can also involve organizational and financial information. LUFKIN also closely controls any information regarding Customer organizations, marketing plans, model instructions and financial information received from Customers.
We take these steps as a matter of doing business and building trust with our customers. We also are not going to put ourselves in the position of deciding what is or is not public information. That is for our specific Customer to determine and/or release themselves.
