John F. "Jay" Glick President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Glick was elected Chief Executive Officer of Lufkin Industries effective March 2008. He has held the additional title of President since August 2007 and was elected to the Company's Board of Directors in November 2007. Previously, Mr. Glick was Vice President and General Manager of Lufkin's Oilfield Division from April 2007 until August 2007. He also was Vice President and General Manger of Lufkin's Power Transmission Division from September 1994 until April 2007.
Mr. Glick holds a B.S. degree from the University of Kansas and is a graduate of the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
Christopher L. "Chris" Boone Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Boone has been with Lufkin Industries since January 1993. Prior to becoming the Company's Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Boone served as Corporate Controller from August 1999 until May 2008. Previously, he served in various financial and operational positions at the Company.
Mr. Boone holds a B.S. degree from Washington & Lee University and a M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Alejandro "Alex" Cestero Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. Cestero joined Lufkin Industries in May 2011 as Vice President and General Counsel. In July, he was appointed as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He also serves as the Company’s Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Cestero most recently served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary for Seahawk Drilling, Inc., prior to which he held various senior positions in the legal department of Pride International, Inc. He began his career with the international law firms of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP. In addition to his professional background as General Counsel, Mr. Cestero has extensive international business transactions and operations experience in the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Cestero is an attorney and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University Law School and M.B.A. and B. A. degrees from Rice University.
Mark E. Crews Vice President of the Oilfield Division
Mr. Crews joined Lufkin Industries in January 2008 as Vice President and General Manager of the Oilfield Division. Previously, Mr. Crews spent 30 years at Cameron International Corporation serving most recently as Vice President-Subsea Technology. He also held numerous senior-level positions in general management, operations, sales and engineering for Cameron in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the United States.
Mr. Crews holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Mr. Crews is Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Northland Christian School in Houston and serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Engineering at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
C.D. "Bud" Hay Vice President of the Power Transmission Division
Mr. Hay joined Lufkin Industries in September 2011 as Vice President and General Manager of the Power Transmission Division. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Operations for the Crane Group at the Manitowoc Company and also served as Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Cranes EMEA, with locations in Germany and Italy. Prior to joining Manitowoc, he served in various senior operations, procurement and lean manufacturing positions at Joy Mining machinery, JLG Industries and spent 20 years with Ingersoll-Rand Company primarily in the Engineered Pump Division.
Mr. Hay holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University.
Scott H. Semlinger Vice President of Manufacturing Technology
Mr. Semlinger joined the Company in December 1975. He has served as Vice President of Manufacturing Technology since April 2007. He previously served in a variety of management positions, including Vice President and General Manager of the Trailer Division and the Foundry Division, Vice President of Oilfield Manufacturing / Foundry, Senior Vice President and vice President of the Machine Division.
Brian J. Gifford Vice President of Human Resources
Mr. Gifford joined Lufkin Industries in September 2010 as Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Gifford is a 32 year veteran of the oilfield services industry, coming to Lufkin from assignments with Schlumberger, Ensco International and most recently with X-Treme Oil Drilling Corporation as their Corporate Manager of Human Resources. He has also served in a number of other domestic and international management positions.
Mr. Gifford holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Windsor.
